14 WHS athletes traveled out of state for a visit to the flat, fast course at Goddard Park in Warwick RI. It was a very competitive meet with teams from all the New England states plus New York and New Jersey attending. Despite having to deal with some congestion on the course in the first mile, Wayland's runners had a good showing with a strong finish in the final mile or so.
